1) Application Process

Contact is made by potential volunteer partner in person, phone, web or mail. A Volunteer Partner Application packet is given to potential volunteer partner to complete and return to T.E.A.M. Volunteer Coordinator. All potential volunteer partners are required to complete a tour, application and interview to become a volunteer partner.

2) Tour

Potential volunteer partners will tour the Mission and a volunteer partner packet is given to potential volunteer partner. Potential volunteer partners will be asked to pray about serving at the Mission. The potential volunteer partner will need to return volunteer partner packet to T.E.A.M. Volunteer office.

3) Interview Process

Each volunteer partner is interviewed by T.E.A.M. Volunteer Department after references are checked and volunteer partner packet is complete. Volunteer partner opportunities will be shared with potential volunteer partner.

4) Volunteer Orientation

Each quarter a volunteer partner orientation is held to help volunteer partners make an easy transition to volunteering. Job descriptions will be available so potential volunteer partners can pray about a place to serve.

5) Placement

Volunteer partners will be given a job description of position where placed. The volunteer partner is introduced to staff supervisior. Volunteer partner is placed into a position after much prayer.

6) Training

Staff supervisor and Staff will train volunteer partners to perform the job that has been assigned. Staff will monitor each volunteer partner and adjust schedule and duties to help volunteer partner be successful.

7) Serving

Volunteer partners will be scheduled to serve at the convenience of the voluteer partner. Volunteer Partners will sign in at location of service. If problems arise the volunteer partner is encouraged to share with staff or staff supervisor. Staff is encouraged to visit with T.E.A.M. Volunteer Coordinator to help solve the problem. If the problem is not resolved then the volunteer partner is encouraged to talk with the T.E.A.M. Volunteer Coordinator.

8) Follow-Up

The Volunteer partner will be contacted weekly or after serving four weeks of service to see how things are going. Staff supervisor will be contacted weekly for the first four weeks of service to see how things are going. Staff supervisor and T.E.A.M. Volunteer Coordinator will monitor the situation. Quarterly follow-up contact will be made with volunteer partner and staff supervisor.
