"On my first day at the Women and Children’s Center, I asked Jesus into my life as my Lord and Savior. I have finished the program and I am clean and sober.
I have learned patience, to listen to others, to be submissive to authority, and how to keep clean and sober. I am involved in my church, and I help feed the homeless once a week at my church.
My life has been full of trials but now I am content and joyful. I am learning God is in charge and I am not. I am also learning to trust Him more each day."

"While living in Phoenix, I asked God to place me in a monastery so I could spend time with Him, but God placed me at the Gospel Rescue Mission in Tucson.

The Mission is a good place to get your life in order. You can stop focusing on yourself and focus on God. I found direction in my life and believe that God wants me to go out and help the homeless.

I am making plans to help the homeless because God touched my life at the Mission."

"Five months before I came to the Women and Children’s Center I asked Jesus into my life. I was at the center 6 weeks without my children. My son and daughter came to live with me after I had proved myself. I have learned... to love others... give to others... and a different way of life at the center.

I have almost finished my GED and then I can get my diploma. The Learning Center has helped me with math, grammar, reading, vocabulary and computers. The Mission has helped restore my life, return my children, have a mind and heart for God, improved my self worth, and have a new beginning."
