Teresa - Testimonial

Teresa at the Gospel Rescue Mission's Women and Children's CenterGospel Rescue Mission Logo "On my first day at the Women and Children’s Center, I asked Jesus into my life as my Lord and Savior. I have finished the program and I am clean and sober.

I have learned patience, to listen to others, to be submissive to authority, and how to keep clean and sober. I am involved in my church, and I help feed the homeless once a week at my church.

My life has been full of trials but now I am content and joyful. I am learning God is in charge and I am not. I am also learning to trust Him more each day."

The Mission is a good place to get your life in order. You can stop focusing on yourself and focus on God. I found direction in my life and believe that God wants me to go out and help the homeless.

I am making plans to help the homeless because God touched my life at the Mission."

Malena and Children at the Women and Children's Center of the Gospel Rescue MissionGospel Rescue Mission Logo"Five months before I came to the Women and Children’s Center I asked Jesus into my life. I was at the center 6 weeks without my children. My son and daughter came to live with me after I had proved myself.

I have learned... to love others... give to others... and a different way of life at the center.

I have almost finished my GED and then I can get my diploma. The Learning Center has helped me with math, grammar, reading, vocabulary and computers. The Mission has helped restore my life, return my children, have a mind and heart for God, improved my self worth, and have a new beginning."
