Community Outreach
Fellowship that touches souls...
Community Outreach is the festive arm of the Community Ministries coalition. Reaching out into the community in many different ways, our most notable festivities are the Annual Thanksgiving Street Banquet and the Christmas Street Banquet.
Each of these banquets provide meals to the homeless, poor and needy, but more importantly, allows the community to fellowship together to meet each others needs.
The Mission typically serves between 1,500 to 2,500 traditional holiday meals at each banquet. Music and testimonies present the Gospel Message while guests enjoy their hot meals.
Activities for children create a festive and enjoyable atmosphere for all. Christmas gifts are also provided to children at the Christmas Banquet.
Food... Fellowship... Gifts... And more...
Would you like to be a part of this blessing?
Over 650 volunteer partners, staff and program men help with these banquets.
Additional outreaches such as, football bowl game parties, 4th of July celebrations, etc. are provided throughout the year for the homeless men, women and children who are guests in our facilities.
Your help is needed each and every day, not just on special occasions.
Each year we are blessed to serve over 2000 meals at our November Great Thanksgiving Street Banquet.
Then we received an even greater blessing at the December Christmas Street Banquets. Over 500 families attended the party where 3,000 gifts are given to thousands of children. A couple thousand Christmas meals of turkey and over 2,200 hot dogs are also served.
Truly, God works wonders through people willing to lay aside themselves and minister to The Least, The Last, and the Lost in our Community.
Last year over 650 volunteers came together to prepare and serve the meals at both banquets, as well as help with the festivities for the children and adults.
