Candidates are accepted on the basis of bed availability, without regard to age, education, ethnicity or religion. The single exception being that we can not take Level II or III sex offenders.
Length of Stay
- A man may stay at the mission four days in a row each month.
- A woman or a woman with children may stay for seven days in a row each month.
Stays may be extended based upon individual needs. Please go to the Men’s Extended Shelter Program – Up To 90 Day Stay page, or the Women and Children’s Extended Shelter Program – Up To 90 Day Stay page, for additional information concerning extended stays in our facilities.
Requirements for longer stays…
Men, women and women with children staying longer than four or seven days respectively, are required to do work around the Mission in exchange for the extra days. These chores will involve such work as:
