New Life

GRM Proudly Honors 51 Graduates! 51 of our Recovery guests recently walked down an aisle of chairs, one by one, and accepted a certificate of completion from our staff as a room full of their friends and family members stood, clapping and screaming in celebration of their accomplishments. It was the perfect night.

Opportunity Coffee & Cafe

GRM Launches A Bold New Venture! It’s a cold, early Monday morning. Outside an unmarked mobile cafe, two GRM employees huddle for warmth while waiting for their morning orders. Dr. Tony Simms, Chief Strategy Officer, has already placed his order—a large latte. Bruce Beikman, Communications Director, is next in line. Savanah had been giving plasma to supplement her income and keep up with rent payments, but a sudden car accident prevented her from keeping up with appointments. Savanah lost her home. Keep Reading

Fifth Anniversary

CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF FREEDOM Five years ago this June, we took a leap of faith and opened the new H.S. Lopez Family Foundation Center of Opportunity. Today, we join hands with over 60 organizations and volunteer service groups to provide holistic care for our neighbors experiencing homelessness. As we reflect on these transformative years, we celebrate the stories of all of those who we’ve served and highlight three women whose lives have been changed by their journey with us.

Thank you

Last year, over 18,000 meals—perhaps 4.5 tons of food—were prepared in our kitchen and served to our guests and visitors by compassionate volunteers. Last year, your generosity provided homeless children and adults with over 89,000 nights of safe and comfortable sleep. (more…)

New Season

For years, we’ve watched people complete our Recovery Program and then struggle in their new season of life. Though they’ve received the tools to continue living a sober life, some can feel isolated, alone, and scared.
